The Contracts Administrator & Buyer is a dual-role position responsible for managing customer and vendor contracts while overseeing procurement activities. This role plays a key role in driving business growth by combining strong technical expertise with responsive customer engagement.


This position involves understanding customer requirements. This role ensures that all commercial terms, purchasing processes, and supplier relationships support efficient project execution, cost control, and on-time delivery for both new equipment and service operations. The company’s focus is supporting demanding fan needs of industrial segments such as power plants, petrochemical plants, pulp & paper, waste-to-energy, cement plants, steel & metallurgical plants, mining operations, etc.

  • Contracts Administration
  • Purchasing
  • Cross Department Coordination
  • Coordination with Sales, Applications Engineering, Engineering, Production & Service
  • Documentation & Recordkeeping


Education and/or Experience


Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3 - 7+ years of experience in contracts administration, purchasing, or supply chain roles in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with custom or engineered-to-order products preferred
  • Strong understanding of contract terms, procurement practices, and vendor management
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications


Preferred

  • Experience with the likes of axial flow fans, centrifugal fans, blowers, pumps, compressors, turbomachinery, heavy rotating machinery.
  • Familiarity with metal fabrication and machining
  • Familiarity with global sourcing, sea freight, customs and logistics
  • Experience with job cost, cost analysis and supplier performance evaluation.
