Contract Specialist

Our client, a leading provider of energy services, is hiring a Contracts Specialist to join their team in Columbus, OH! This will be 3x onsite a week.

In this role, you will lead the contract formation and administration process for enterprise security procurement, managing RFPs, negotiations, and vendor agreements while ensuring compliance with internal risk, legal, and supply chain standards. You will also support strategic sourcing initiatives by evaluating proposals, conducting market analysis, and driving cost savings through effective supplier and contract management.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end contract lifecycle management for enterprise security procurement, including development of RFPs/RFQs, vendor negotiations, and execution of agreements.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and conduct commercial analysis to support sourcing decisions, cost savings initiatives, and alignment with internal stakeholder requirements.
• Manage contract administration activities such as change orders, RFIs, and SAP Ariba records while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and governance standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or 3–4 years of related experience.
• Experience with contracts, sourcing, and vendor negotiations.
• Familiarity with SAP Ariba and procurement processes.
