Position Overview
The Contracts Administrator 2 (CAD2) will provide advanced support to the Contracts Management team by overseeing contract administration activities, ensuring compliance, and supporting contract lifecycle management processes. This role requires an experienced professional capable of independently reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and managing a wide variety of contracts while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong contract management expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex contractual matters.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Review, draft, and negotiate vendor agreements, client contracts, and other legal documents
• Maintain accurate and organized records of contracts, amendments, and supporting documentation
• Monitor contract milestones, deliverables, obligations, and renewal dates
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of contractual requirements
• Ensure contract compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements
• Collaborate with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and operational teams to resolve contract-related issues
• Support complex contract negotiations and amendment activities
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks and compliance concerns
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Contracts Administrators as needed
• Assist in the development and enhancement of contract management systems and databases
• Generate contract status reports and maintain contract tracking tools
• Support audits and compliance reviews related to contract administration
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the Contracts Management function
• Perform additional contract administration duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 6–10 years of Contract Administration experience
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
• Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience using Contract Management Software
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Finance, or related field preferred
• Knowledge of contract law and legal terminology
• Experience supporting Procurement, Legal, or Finance teams
• Experience with complex contract negotiations and amendments
• Experience mentoring junior team members
• Strong process improvement and compliance management experience
