Position: Construction Superintendent
Location: Manassas, VA
Length: Full time
Rate: $60-$65/hr, overtime available

Insight Global is seeking a General Construction Superintendent to lead day‑to‑day on‑site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. This role serves as the primary on‑site leader, coordinating subcontractors, communicating priorities, and working closely with the Project Manager throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead and enforce jobsite safety programs; manage inspections, reporting, and investigations
- Maintain quality standards across all phases of construction
- Oversee daily site operations, scheduling, subcontractors, and workflow
- Maintain daily logs, manage punch lists, and support project closeout
- Coordinate with the Project Manager on schedules, sequencing, and project execution
- Ensure accurate documentation, control scope, minimize change orders, and resolve issues proactively
- Build strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders
- Organize site logistics, temporary utilities, and long‑lead materials
Required Skills & Experience
- Mission critical / data center construction experience required
- 5+ years of commercial construction experience with a general contractor
- Superintendent or project lead experience preferred
- Strong understanding of construction processes and best practices
- Ability to manage people, schedules, and resources in fast‑paced environments
- Experience with tenant improvements, occupied spaces, and weekend work a plus
- Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe
- OSHA 30 preferred
- Ability to meet physical jobsite demands (standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs)
- Strong communication, organization, leadership, and collaboration skills
