We’re representing a well-established Albany-based General Contractor seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee multiple commercial projects across the Capital Region. This is a full-time, permanent position offering stability, growth, and the opportunity to lead some of the area’s most notable public and private sector projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee field operations across multiple commercial construction projects, including interior renovations, process mechanical work, general construction, and school projects
- Manage and support field teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Owners to maintain smooth execution and high client satisfaction
- Ensure all work aligns with contract documents, safety regulations, and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Experience in commercial construction, with at least 5 years in a Superintendent role
- Background in interior fit-outs, process mechanical, education/school projects, or general commercial builds
- Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and jobsite activities simultaneously
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and site coordination
