Minimum 15 years in project management, construction management, or similar field-based roles in an operating asset within industrial, energy, utilities, manufacturing, or related sectors.
Experience working in operating environments involving mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation installations.
Experience working with contractors and managing field HSSE expectations.
Education
Degree or technical certification in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline.
Skills & Competencies
Strong project management capability, including planning, prioritizing, and coordinating field activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality execution.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, field execution practices, and industrial safety requirements.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (P&IDs, isometrics, electrical schematics, civil/structural drawings). Ability to lead minor engineering scopes for small capital improvement projects.
Solid contractor management skills, with the ability to set clear expectations, monitor performance, and drive accountability for safety, quality, and schedule. Comfortable taking field measurements and validating physical installations.
Strong communication skills and ability to represent engineering and project teams in the field.
Ability to build strong working relationships with contractors, operators, vendors, and project stakeholders.
Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, field documentation apps, etc.).
Highly observant with strong attention to detail.
Proactive, hands‑on, and comfortable spending significant time in the field.
