Job Description
As a Manufacturing Technician in a busy fabrication shop, you will operate industrial machinery and tools to support plumbing, piping, and sheet metal production. You will measure and cut materials, use hand and power tools, and document your work using iPads and computers. This role involves working with heavy components, supporting material movement with forklifts, hoists, or cranes, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing process.

Work Environment
This role is based in a fabrication shop environment in Nashville, approximately two miles south of downtown, working in either the plumbing/piping department or the sheet metal department. Standard hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with the expectation of overtime as needed; overtime is typically achieved by starting as early as 5:00 am, and recent schedules have often run from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm. Saturdays may be required occasionally depending on workload, and there is no Sunday work. Lunch is scheduled at 12:30 pm. The work takes place indoors in a shop setting rather than on a jobsite, using industrial machinery, saws, hand and power tools, and digital tools such as iPads for tracking work. Steel-toe footwear is required for safety. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00/hr.
