Inspector / Quality Assurance Manager

Federal GSA Project | San Francisco, CA

Salary: $130,000 | ASAP Start

This is a high‑visibility federal renovation inside one of San Francisco’s most prominent government buildings. You’ll serve as the authority on quality, compliance, and execution—not just inspecting work, but shaping outcomes on a complex, occupied facility.

The Opportunity (Engaging Sell Package)

• Lead quality assurance and inspections on a $10M–$20M GSA Design‑Bid‑Build renovation, spanning 56,000 SF across multiple occupied floors.
• Act as the trusted technical representative for the government—reviewing drawings, changes, RFIs, submittals, and guiding construction decisions.
• Oversee installation quality across architectural, MEP, HVAC, fire protection, electrical, lighting, and FF&E systems in an active federal environment.
• Own cost, change, and schedule evaluations—including estimates, material take‑offs, equitable adjustments, and invoice review.
• Drive projects through construction and closeout, ensuring design intent, system performance, and documentation transfer are executed flawlessly.

What Makes You a Strong Fit

• 10+ years total experience, with 6+ years on complex urban renovations ($8M+; occupied facilities).
• Proven lead inspector experience on government, institutional, or commercial office projects.
• Strong command of construction means & methods, materials, and workmanship quality.
• Comfortable leading meetings, resolving field issues, and briefing clients and decision‑makers.
• OSHA 30 required | CCM (CMAA) preferred | BIM exposure a plus.

Tools & Environment

You’ll actively use Kahua, MS Project, Primavera, Word, Excel, digital submittal platforms, and photo documentation—this is a technically driven role with real authority.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of San Francisco, CA.

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
