Job Title: Construction Coordinator
Location: Brentwood, TN (Onsite – 5 days/week)
Pay: $21-23/hr
Duration: 6-month contract (strong potential for extension)
About the Role
We’re partnering with a a Fortune 300 rural retail organization to bring on a Construction Coordinator to support new store builds and remodel projects across their growing retail footprint. This role sits at the center of construction operations — helping manage documentation, financial tracking, and coordination across internal teams, vendors, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
- Support construction projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring smooth administrative and financial operations
- Manage and maintain project documentation, contracts, and file systems
- Track and process invoices, pay applications, and vendor proposals
- Assist with budget tracking, funding requests, and financial reconciliation
- Coordinate communication across internal teams, contractors, vendors, and leadership
- Support bidding processes, store walks, and warranty coordination
- Ensure compliance with document retention policies and reporting requirements
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and project tracking as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience in operations, construction coordination, or administrative/project support
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-service mindset with strong attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Construction, or related field
- Experience with project management or procurement tools (SAP Ariba, Procore, Projectmates, etc.)
- Familiarity with construction or financial terminology
