Computer Operator I | Harrisburg, PA | $22.50/hour + Benefits

Our client is seeking a Computer Operator I to support daily IT operations in Harrisburg, PA. This role is a strong fit for someone with early experience in computer operations, IT support, help desk, system monitoring, or a recent technical school background.

The Computer Operator will monitor enterprise systems, document and escalate issues, follow operational procedures, and support recovery activities when needed.

Job Details

Location: On-site – Harrisburg, PA

Pay: $22.50/hour

Schedule: 12-hour shifts; final schedule to be confirmed

Responsibilities

• Monitor enterprise IT systems and infrastructure.
• Document system alerts, incidents, and operational issues.
• Escalate problems to senior operators or supervisors as needed.
• Follow daily checklists and established operating procedures.
• Support troubleshooting and system recovery activities.
• Communicate updates clearly and accurately.
• Use ticketing or tracking systems to document activity.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in computer operations, IT support, help desk, system monitoring, or a related technical role.
• Technical degree, IT training, or comparable experience preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and escalate issues appropriately.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must pass an FBI-level background check to obtain a Gaming License.
