Computer Numerical Control Programmer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support complex, tight‑tolerance machining in an AS9100/NADCAP environment. This role programs multi‑axis mills and lathes, supports shop‑floor operations, and ensures best‑in‑class manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Program complex components for:
• Horizontal machining centers
• Vertical machining centers
• 4‑axis, 5‑axis, and Y‑axis CNC lathes
• Edit and optimize G & M code, macro programs, and multi‑axis toolpaths
• Maintain program libraries and revision control per NADCAP requirements
• Provide shop‑floor troubleshooting, machining support, and continuous improvement input (Kaizen, 5S, VSM)
• Manage program uploads, downloads, storage, and documentation
• Collaborate with machinists and engineering to improve efficiency and quality

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of CNC programming experience (5+ years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of G‑code, M‑code, and macro programming
• Proficient with Mastercam, Esprit, and/or SolidWorks
• Experience with tight tolerances, GD&T, and blueprint interpretation
• Hands-on experience with CNC lathes and mills (horizontal & vertical)
• Experience with Fanuc, Okuma, and Mitsubishi/CELOS controls
• Must have worked in an AS9100 or NADCAP manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or GED
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under federal export control laws

Preferred Skills

• Six Sigma training or experience with data-driven process improvement
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work independently, solve problems, and support a fast-paced production floor
