Compounder-2nd Shift

As a Compounder on the 2nd shift, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving and measuring ingredients, mixing them, and ensuring compliance with all quality standards. You will handle a variety of substances, including liquids and powders, and will be tasked with maintaining precise documentation throughout the compounding process.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and accurately measure ingredients using scales.
• Mix various ingredients and identify solids that need melting using hot plates.
• Identify ingredients requiring dilution, dilute them accordingly, and record raw materials usage.
• Verify the weight and contents of raw materials to maintain quality standards.
• Conduct in-process batch inspections and document all process events.
• Process liquid, powders, homogenizing, and spray dry methods of compounding.
• Follow standard batch instructions to accurately weigh dyes and other substances.
• Check for consistency in batches and measure the viscosity of mixtures.
• Take samples of batches and submit them to the laboratory for testing.
• Follow food safety guidelines and accurately document completed work.
• Wear a uniform and proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in compounding with powder/raw material.
• Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment.
• Ability to willingly follow safety and sanitation protocols.
• Experience handling raw materials.

• Open-minded and adaptable.
• Team player.

You will work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment on the 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. The role requires adherence to a specific dress code, including wearing a uniform and necessary personal protective equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of New Brunswick, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $58000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in New Brunswick,NJ.
