We are seeking a detail-oriented Compounder to join our production team. You will be responsible for blending raw materials according to precise formulas using equipment such as mixers, spray dryers, and blending tanks. This role ensures product consistency, follows strict food safety guidelines, and maintains accurate documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesBatching & Mixing: Accurately measure, weigh, and blend raw materials (dyes, chemicals, and ingredients) following standard instructions.
Equipment Operation: Sit-down and Stand-up Forklift, Monitor equipment, control temperatures, and manage material transfers using piping and parts.
Quality Control: Measure viscosity, check batch consistency, and collect samples for laboratory testing.
Sanitation & Safety: Follow CIP (Clean-in-Place) procedures and adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of required PPE.
Documentation: Complete all batch sheets and production paperwork with 100% accuracy.
Physical Ability: Must be able to manually lift 50 lbs. continuously and wear a respirator if required.
Technical Skills: Basic math proficiency, computer literacy (RF scanners preferred), and the ability to read scales/unit measurements.
Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with GMPs, allergen control, and workplace safety standards.
Experience: MUSThave Forklift experience(BOTHsit-down and stand-up). Previous experience in compounding or batching is highly preferred.
Education: HS Diploma/GED preferred.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $19.00
