Complex Commercial Litigation Attorney

Full Time | Hybrid | Downtown LA | $155K - $200K

Additional compensation includes discretionary year-end bonuses (typically $10k to high five-figures), a 10% origination credit on collected fees for new business, and signing bonuses for judicial clerkship experience.

About This Role

We are looking for a Complex Commercial Litigator with 1-4 years of experience to join a well-known dynamic litigation boutique. We are seeking an engaged, curious, and motivated attorney with strong fundamentals in legal research and writing. This is an opportunity to gain significant, hands-on experience on lean case teams handling high-stakes matters for a diverse range of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to innovative tech startups.

Responsibilities

• Handling a diverse caseload of complex commercial litigation, including a high volume of trade secret, tech, fintech, and crypto matters.
• Taking on significant responsibility within lean case teams, often working directly with one partner.
• Drafting briefs, motions, and other critical legal documents for cases in both state and federal courts.
• Managing discovery, preparing for depositions, and providing direct support for a busy trial practice.
• Gaining direct client exposure and contributing to case strategy from an early stage in your career.

Requirements

• 1 – 4 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, ideally with some exposure to technology, intellectual property, or fintech matters.
• Must be admitted to the California bar
• Juris Doctor from a top 50 law school
• Federal or state judicial clerkship experience. (desirable but not a strict requirement)
