Our retail space, Supervsn Slauson, is more than a store—it’s a cultural hub for community, creativity, conversation, and collaboration.


We’re looking for a highly motivated, culturally aware, community-driven individual to help support the day-to-day energy and growth of the store.


Role Overview


The Community & Retail Coordinator will support retail operations, customer experience, community engagement, social media content, and in-store activations.


This role is ideal for someone who naturally connects with people, understands culture and aesthetics, enjoys fashion and community spaces, and thrives in a fast-moving creative environment.


You’ll work closely with the founder and team to help make the store feel alive—both physically and digitally.


Responsibilities


Retail & Customer Experience


* Create a welcoming and engaging in-store experience

* Build relationships with customers and community members

* Support daily retail operations and visual merchandising

* Assist with product launches and product storytelling

* Maintain store organization, cleanliness, and presentation standards


Community & Events


* Assist with planning and executing in-store events and activations

* Support community outreach and relationship building

* Help coordinate guest lists, RSVPs, partnerships, and event logistics

* Identify opportunities for collaborations and local engagement


Social Media & Content Support


* Capture organic content during store hours and events

* Support Instagram Stories, community reposts, and behind-the-scenes content

* Help maintain a consistent digital presence for the store

* Coordinate basic content needs with the marketing team


Operations & Organization


* Assist with inventory organization and fulfillment support

* Help coordinate packages, samples, and store deliveries

* Support Shopify order management and customer communication

* Maintain organization across store systems and workflows


Qualifications



  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Deep passion for streetwear, fashion, art, music, and culture, with a strong understanding of contemporary creative communities
  • Well-connected within the Los Angeles creative landscape, with an existing network of artists, creatives, influencers, tastemakers, and community leaders preferred
  • Ability to build authentic relationships and create meaningful community engagement opportunities
  • Organized, proactive, self-motivated, and highly detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Shopify, and digital community-building tools
  • Prior retail, hospitality, fashion, or creative industry experience preferred
  • Reliable, community-minded, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer and community experiences
  • Keeps a pulse on emerging cultural trends, brands, events, and creative talent
  • Available a minimum of 3 days per week in-store, including some weekends and special events



Compensation & Benefits


* Part-time (20–30 hours per week)

* $25–$30 per hour DOE
