Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and creative manager to lead our brand messaging, communication strategies, and multi-channel campaigns. This leader will shape how our charitable organization engages our prospective customers, partners, and the overall market by developing compelling, consistent, and on-brand narratives that drive awareness, engagement, and growth.
Lawyers across the country trust the American Bar Endowment (ABE) to help protect their families and firms. We sponsor quality group insurance products, exclusively for Bar Association Members. ABE-sponsored insurance is designed to generate dividends, which Bar Association Members can choose to donate to ABE. These contributions help fund research, educational, and public service projects of importance to the public and the profession.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
· Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing communications strategy that aligns with organizational goals and brand identity
· Manage corporate messaging, positioning, and storytelling across all channels
· Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on communication opportunities
Brand & Content Management
· Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including digital assets, blogs, thought leadership, press releases, customer stories, and promotional collateral
· Lead editorial planning and content calendar management
Communication Channels
· Direct the strategy and execution for digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, and other communication channels to promote our insurance products and charitable works
· Oversee website content strategy and optimization
Team & Budget Management
· Manage external agencies, freelancers, and creative vendors as needed.
· Oversee departmental budgets and ensure effective resource allocation.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field
· Minimum 8 years related experience marketing, reputation management, with increasing levels of responsibility within a complex organization
· Demonstrated ability to design and implement marketing strategies and develop high impact print, web, and electronic marketing materials
· Demonstrated ability to create compelling and effective marketing communications content that engages target audiences
· High level of professionalism

Estimated Hiring Range
At the ABE, we consider skills, organizational needs, and experience in our compensation approach. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000 and includes full benefits.
