The Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF) is seeking a Communications & Marketing Intern to support the Communications Department with developing content for the MRF social media channels, assist with our prevention and awareness campaigns and assist with other communication and marketing projects.
Education & Experience.• Excellent customer service skills including verbal, written and interpersonal communication
• Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
• Strong graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe, InDesign, Photoshop)
• Strong writing/editing skills are required
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
• Availability of 10-20 hours/week
• Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications or another related field
• This position is required onsite at our Washington, DC office on Monday and Wednesday during normal business hours
Overview.The Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF) is seeking a Communications & Marketing Intern to support the Communications Department with developing content for the MRF social media channels, assist with our prevention and awareness campaigns and assist with other communication and marketing projects. This intern will report to the Development Marketing Manager. The internship is not paid but can be used for class credit and/or employment experience.
This internship will be based upon 10-20 hours of work per week. This will be an unpaid, in-person internship based in Washington, DC for Spring 2026 with a potential for internship extension into the Summer.
