Commissioning Engineer
Position: Full time
Location: Atlanta, GA
We're seeking a motivated and detail oriented Commissioning Engineer to support the delivery of high performance building systems. This role involves planning, executing, and validating MEP systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and reliable project outcomes across multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
- Managing commissioning plans, schedules, and budgets
- Reviewing design and construction documents
- Creating and overseeing testing procedures and documenting system performance
- Identifying, documenting issues (design and construction) and providing resolution guidance
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients
- Producing detailed reports and recommendations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- E.I.T. or P.E. preferred
- 5 years+ commissioning experience
- Cx Certification (CCP, BCxP, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, building automation
