LHH is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join a well-regarded law firm in Tampa, FL. This is a full-time, fully onsite opportunity supporting a busy real estate practice with a strong pipeline of transactional work. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience handling commercial real estate matters who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative law firm environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of commercial real estate transactions from due diligence through closing
- Review and analyze title commitments, surveys, and related documents
- Prepare closing checklists, closing binders, and transaction documents
- Coordinate with lenders, title companies, clients, and third parties throughout the transaction lifecycle
- Order and review title, survey, zoning, and lien search materials
- Draft and revise transactional documents, correspondence, and closing statements
- Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of deal-related tasks
- Maintain organized electronic and physical files for all matters
- Support post-closing activities, including recording and document distribution
- Assist with general paralegal and administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience
- Strong experience reviewing title commitments and surveys required
- Prior law firm experience preferred
- Solid understanding of commercial real estate transactions and closing processes
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems
