LHH is seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support attorneys in handling a wide range of commercial real estate transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with 2+ years of commercial real estate experience who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative legal environment. The role will involve supporting acquisitions, dispositions, leasing matters, financing transactions, due diligence, title review, and closings.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing.
- Prepare, review, and organize transaction documents, including purchase agreements, leases, amendments, deeds, and closing packages.
- Coordinate due diligence efforts, including title, survey, zoning, and environmental review.
- Review title commitments, surveys, and related documents; identify and assist in resolving title issues.
- Manage closing checklists, signature packets, and post-closing documentation.
- Communicate with clients, lenders, title companies, surveyors, and other parties throughout the transaction process.
- Maintain electronic and physical files while tracking deadlines and transaction milestones.
- Support attorneys with recording, filing, and post-closing matters.
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal.
- Experience supporting commercial acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, or development transactions.
- Knowledge of title and survey review, due diligence processes, and real estate closing procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems.
- Paralegal certificate or degree preferred.
