With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to welcome an Commercial Painter to join our dynamic team.


Shifts: 6:00am – 2:30pm, 2:00pm – 10:30pm, 10:00pm – 6:30am


Compensation: $20.00- $24.00 per hour (Based on experience), Medical, Vision, Life, and 401k


Scope of Role:

The successful candidate will perform routine to moderately complex surface preparation, painting, and finishing tasks, utilizing a variety of methods and techniques on both interior and exterior surfaces. Responsible for preparing and applying paint, coatings, and finishes across a range of commercial structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards, project timelines, and client specifications.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Apply paints, sealers, and solvents to exterior and interior building surfaces such as plaster, Sheetrock, concrete, and wood
  • Perform building exterior and interior caulking, finish repair, mud and tape, and texturing tasks
  • Operate equipment such as airless spray equipment, scaffolding, and motorized lifts
  • Use mechanized high-reach equipment to renew caulking on exterior building panel seams, windows, and doors
  • Perform special refinishing tasks including wood surface preparation, staining, and sealing
  • Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
  • Perform minor plaster repair, blending newly renovated wall surfaces with existing plaster
  • Survey building painting project sites to estimate time and material quantities required; selects appropriate surface coatings.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements


  • 2+ years of experience in commercial or industrial painting
  • Experience working on large commercial projects (e.g., offices, airports, warehouses)
  • Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation methods
  • Ability to operate spray equipment and other painting tools
  • OSHA certification or safety training (Preferred)
  • Experience with lifts, scaffolding, and working at heights
  • Strong attention to detail and workmanship


Physical Requirements:

  • Be able to work in environments with frequent exposure to extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and loud noise
  • Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting, pushing, and pulling objects up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb and work from ladders up to 36 feet in height
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
