Commercial Litigation Paralegal | Jacksonville, FL | Up to $80K | In-Office
A reputable and well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join its growing litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking for long-term growth, hands-on exposure to complex matters, and the chance to work alongside highly regarded attorneys in a collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Support 2+ litigation attorneys with day-to-day case management
- Communicate with clients and internal teams regarding case status and updates
- Review pleadings and correspondence to identify deadlines and key action items; manage calendaring accordingly
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including motions, notices, discovery, and subpoenas
- Proofread and edit substantive filings, including appellate briefs and dispositive motions, ensuring accuracy of citations and formatting
- Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness materials, and hearing notebooks
- Coordinate logistics and provide support during trial, including working with trial presentation tools
- Manage e-filing in state and federal courts
- Monitor compliance with court rules and procedural requirements
- Support billing and timekeeping processes in collaboration with accounting
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in commercial or business litigation
- Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certification preferred
- Strong technical proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe)
- Experience with document and timekeeping systems; NetDocuments and Orion a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
