Compensation: $250,000 – $290,000 base + bonus

A nationally recognized AM100 law firm with offices across the United States is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its New York office. The firm represents sophisticated clients in complex, high-stakes commercial disputes and is known for its strong national litigation platform.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of commercial litigation matters including contract disputes, partnership and shareholder litigation, and other complex business disputes in state and federal courts.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial litigation matters from early case strategy through resolution
• Draft motions, pleadings, and legal briefs
• Manage discovery, conduct depositions, and coordinate with experts
• Work closely with partners and clients on litigation strategy

Qualifications

• Approximately 8 years of commercial litigation experience, ideally from a reputable law firm
• Strong experience handling complex disputes in state and federal courts
• Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Admission to the New York Bar (or ability to waive in)
• Oil, gas, or utilities industry experience is a plus

Compensation

• $250,000 – $290,000 base salary plus bonus
