A growing and well-respected law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its litigation team. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters involving construction disputes, real estate litigation, and oil & gas matters in a collaborative and mentorship-focused environment.
The firm is looking for a motivated attorney in the 2–4 year experience range who is eager to develop their litigation skills and build a long-term career with the potential for partnership down the road.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with all phases of commercial litigation from case inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues
- Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery and reviewing documents
- Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
- Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case development
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding case progress and legal strategy
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of litigation experience, ideally within commercial litigation
- Experience with construction disputes, real estate litigation, or oil & gas matters is preferred
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced legal environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Licensed and in good standing with the applicable state bar
Compensation & Opportunity:
- Salary range: $160,000 – $170,000, depending on experience
