Commercial Closing Coordinator



Overview:

A commercial title and settlement organization is seeking an experienced Commercial Closing Coordinator to manage complex commercial real estate transactions from contract through post-closing. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong New York commercial transaction experience to contribute to a dynamic team and support high-value deals. This position offers long-term growth potential within a developing commercial platform, with opportunities to take on increasingly complex transactions and leadership responsibilities.




Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Manage commercial title files from opening through closing and post-closing
  • Review title reports and collaborate with attorneys to resolve title issues
  • Coordinate communication among lenders, attorneys, buyers, sellers, and internal teams
  • Prepare settlement statements and assemble closing packages
  • Order and review payoff statements, lien searches, and related documentation
  • Ensure compliance with New York title requirements and closing procedures
  • Track key milestones and proactively follow up to keep transactions on schedule



Qualifications include but not limited to:

  • Prior experience as a Closing Coordinator, commercial experience required
  • Experience supporting New York commercial real estate transactions ($250M+)
  • Understanding of title clearance, endorsements, and lender requirements
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple high-value transactions simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment



Compensation

  • Base salary $100,000-$175,000, commensurate with experience
  • Health Insurance
