Job Title: CNC Plasma Table Programmer

Steady shift Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm

Pay: $45,000+ depending on experience

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Plasma Table Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating programs for CNC plasma tables, plate rolls, and press brake machines using part nesting software. You will ensure that all materials are routed correctly and that there are sufficient nested jobs to keep machines running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory of drop materials to maximize material utilization and reduce scrap during processing.
• Conduct cycle counts of plate inventory and maximize utilization through nesting, ensuring strategic consumption of raw materials.
• Compare on-hand material to SAP counts to ensure accuracy.
• Read and interpret manufacturer drawings and create CNC files for plasma cutting tables, plate rolls, and brake presses to produce parts for fabrication.

Essential Skills

• Experience with CNC programming, specifically creating programs for CNC plasma tables, plate rolls, and press brake machines.
• Proficient in creating files and daily nesting plans for CNC plasma tables.
• Ability to ensure all materials are routed properly and maintain sufficient nested jobs for machine operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is preferred.
• 1 year of experience with AUTOCAD 2D is required.
• 1 year of experience with SAP is required.
• 1 year of experience with .DXF files and various print file types is required.
• 1 year of experience building spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Proficiency with Auto CAD CAM software is preferred.

Work Environment

This position is based in an industrial facility that is not climate-controlled. You will be working in a dynamic and hands-on environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Carnegie, PA.

The pay range for this position is $53000.00 - $57000.00/yr.
