CNC Machinist (30 To 35 An Hour)

Aerotek is hiring CNC Lathe Machinists in Dayton, OH - Paying up to 35/hr - 1st and 2nd shift openings

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machinist who will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes and/or CNC mills, performing dry runs on new programs, and ensuring parts meet customer prints and specifications. This role requires adjusting offsets and performing minor programming.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or CNC mills
• Perform dry runs on new programs.
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet customer prints and specifications.
• Adjust offsets and perform minor programming as needed.
• Conduct quality checks using micrometers, dial calipers, thread gages, and verniers.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years experience interpreting blueprints, detailed customer drawings, and specifications.
• 2+ years experience performing CNC set ups with live tooling.
• 2+ years experience adjusting offsets and performing minor programming.
• 2+ years experience performing quality checks using precision measuring instruments.
• 2+ years experience with CNC Lathe operations and manual machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating manual machines is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kettering, OH.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Kettering,OH.
