Clinical Contracts Manager

We are seeking a highly organized Clinical Contracts Manager. This role leads contract management activities supporting clinical and operational teams, including drafting, negotiation, and execution of vendor and service agreements.

• Location: Hybrid in San Diego, CA
• Hours: Flexible hours, approximately 20-40 hours per week based on business needs
• Pay range: $48-70/hour

Responsibilities:

• Manage full contract lifecycle from request through execution
• Draft, review, and negotiate vendor and consultant agreements
• Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to align on scope, terms, and budgets
• Support clinical study needs by coordinating contract processes and vendor engagement
• Maintain contract tracking systems, documentation, and reporting
• Monitor timelines, renewals, and contract performance
• Handle a high volume of requests while ensuring accuracy and compliance

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Min. 5+ years of experience in contracts management
• Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience managing complex agreements and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience working with clinical vendors (e.g., CROs or service providers) preferred
• Relevant industry experience
