Our client, a US Fortune 250 company and a global medical technology corporation serving customers in Clinical Labs, Health care research & Pharmaceutical industry, seeks an accomplished Revenue Accounting Manager.

Job Summary:
- Client needs a Revenue Accounting manager responsible for managing complex revenue transactions, allocations, and accounting projects across a diverse portfolio of hardware, software, professional services, and post-contract support.
- The position will collaborate cross-functionally with Contracting, Financial Reporting, FP&A, and Professional Services teams, while also managing a team of two Senior Accountants. This role requires strong technical accounting expertise and effective communication to facilitate information flow across business units.
Responsibilities:
- Review contracts to ensure compliance with GAAP (ASC 606) and internal policies
- Lead month-end close activities, including review of journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage, mentor, and prioritize work for a team of two Senior Accountants
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements independently
- Support and fulfill internal and external audit requests
- Own and manage Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls, including audit coordination
- Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts related to revenue
- Partner with FP&A and project management teams on revenue accounting treatments
- Streamline and enhance finance systems and processes to support scalability
- Respond to business partner inquiries and contribute to ad hoc projects
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 4–7 years of relevant experience (public accounting experience preferred).
- Experience managing or leading a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles preferred.
- Experience with SAP (or similar ERP systems) and Blackline preferred.
- CPA certification is preferred.
