Job Title: Epic Clinical Analyst II - Beacon

Our Client is seeking an experienced Epic Clinical Analyst II (Beacon) to support the design, configuration, testing, and optimization of their Epic clinical applications. This role partners closely with clinical and operational teams to enhance workflows, improve system functionality, and ensure high‑quality end‑user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide subject‑matter expertise in the assigned Epic clinical module, guiding design, build, and testing efforts.
  • Collaborate with clinical stakeholders to translate workflow needs into effective system configuration and enhancements.
  • Lead small to medium‑scale Epic upgrades, workflow improvements, and feature enhancements across design, build, and validation phases.
  • Participate in workflow design and user validation sessions, ensuring proper documentation, tracking, and escalation of issues.
  • Offer technical and clinical insights to support system configuration decisions and recommend improvements based on workflow analysis.
  • Develop and maintain complete system documentation, including design specifications and build records.
  • Conduct detailed assessments of workflows, data requirements, reporting needs, and other technical elements within the Epic application.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field — or 4+ years of equivalent IT experience.
  • Active Epic clinical certification.
  • 3–5 years of experience implementing Epic within large organizations.
  • 3–5 years of experience working within structured change management frameworks.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Prior experience in healthcare environments is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with clinical workflows (documentation, order sets, orders, patient portal activities, encounter closure, patient flow).
  • Experience working in complex clinical settings such as pediatric, tertiary, or quaternary care.
  • Certification in one or more Epic modules.
