Civil Project Engineer

Salary: $90,000-$120,000 + bonus potential, benefits, PTO, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, mileage reimbursement

A growing engineering group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to support site/civil design for commercial, residential, mixed-use, and industrial projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical design and occasional field work in a collaborative environment.

• Produce and update site plans, reports, specifications, cost estimates, and construction documents.
• Design and analyze grading, stormwater management, utilities, and erosion control components.
• Review maps, surveys, soil data, and aerial imagery to support design decisions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal permitting requirements.
• Participate in field investigations and site visits as needed.
• Support junior staff and contribute to project coordination.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in site/civil design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• FE/EIT required; PE preferred.

• Office-focused role with approximately 25% outdoor fieldwork.
• Ability to navigate uneven terrain and lift up to 50 lbs when needed.
• Standard Monday–Friday schedule with occasional extended hours.
