Civil Project Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Site/Civil Project Manager to join a collaborative and growing team in Fort Lauderdale. This is a great opportunity to take the lead on a wide range of land development projects while working alongside experienced industry professionals.

🚀 What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the design and permitting of residential, commercial, institutional, warehouse, and mixed-use developments for both public and private clients
• Partner with leadership to help drive team growth, project success, and staff utilization
• Play an active role in business development — building new client relationships and maintaining strong partnerships with existing ones
• Oversee all aspects of site/civil design, including:
• Site layout
• Grading
• Drainage
• Infrastructure
• Erosion & sediment control
• Manage projects from early concept through final construction
• Lead stormwater management design, including hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and SWPPP preparation
• Collaborate across disciplines, integrating geotechnical and environmental considerations into project designs
• Jump in where needed — this is a team-oriented role with a lot of variety

🧠 What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 6-7 years of site/civil experience, especially in land development (both small and large projects)
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Strong experience with: Site design and layout / Grading and drainage / Infrastructure design / Erosion and sediment control
• Confidence in managing client relationships and project delivery
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
• Experience with technical writing and proposals
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Active involvement in professional organizations is a plus
