We are seeking a proactive and seasoned Litigation Paralegal with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in civil litigation, preferably in the areas of real estate, business, and/or construction. The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for tasks such as client communication, legal document preparation, document review, legal research, drafting pleadings, and motions.
Who You Are
- Knowledgeable and Experienced: Civil litigation paralegal with a minimum of 8 years' experience in civil litigation with ample knowledge of the litigation process, including deadlines and court procedures. Able to effectively draft pleadings, motions, orders, notices, discovery requests and responses, real property, contracts, etc.
- Strong Communicator: Able to write and communicate in an articulate manner.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: Manages the delicate balance of quality work product and competing deadlines.
- Growth-Oriented: Motivated to refine existing litigation skills and learn new ones.
- Team Player: Thrives in a collaborative professional environment.
- Technology Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft products, legal software, and timekeeping platforms.
- Educated and Qualified: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of civil litigation experience; equivalent combination of education and additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Specialized Experience: Litigation experience in real estate, business, and/or construction is a plus. Board certification a plus.
- Bilingual Skills: Spanish language or other foreign language proficiency is a plus.
