- Schedule: 4x10 day shift. 6x12 during outage, potential for nightshift
- Certifications: Professional Engineer License; Has held qualifications at a nuclear power station in the last 3 years – including Design Change, Calculations, and 50.59 applicability/screen

Top 3 Required Skills:
1) Strong analytical capability in steel and concrete design
2) Proficient in the nuclear Standard Design Process and license/design basis assessment per 10CFR50.59
3) Construction and implementation experience

High Level Project Overview:
- Candidate will be responsible for developing and reviewing Design Changes, calculations, and technical evaluations in support of large capital projects as part of Surry Power Station’s Subsequent License Renewal. Candidate will work extensively with Engineers of Choice and manufacturers to ensure designs satisfy technical specifications and station design/license basis.
- Projects include, but are not limited to – 96” circulating water intake piping replacement, 4160V Cable Replacement, Fuel Handling Cranes Replacement, Containment cooling coil replacement, and R22 Elimination
Education:
- B.S. in Civil, Structural, or Engineering Mechanics
