The Town of New Hampton, NH is seeking a progressive, community-oriented Police Chief to lead this full-service police department (approx. budget $880K) consisting of the Chief of Police, 4 FT officers, and 1 FT Administrative Assistant. With approximately 2,400 residents, New Hampton is a quintessential Northern New England community in central New Hampshire. Located in the beautiful Lakes Region, New Hampton is just minutes from Lakes Winnipesaukee, Winnisquam, and Newfound with their abundant recreational opportunities. Some qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, police administration or related field is preferred.
