JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Chief of Police or his/her designee, the Animal Shelter Operations Manager is responsible for the care of animals at the Conroe Animal Shelter and the management of all staff on location. The position is responsible for day-to-day operations, budgeting, adoption program and coordinating veterinary services for a spay/neuter program.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The work is heavy and requires the ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally with assistance, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force consistently to move objects. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required: climbing, crawling, crouching, feeling, fingering, grasping, handling, hearing, kneeling, lifting, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motions, speaking, standing, stooping, talking, visual acuity and walking.
