Chief Financial Officer

We're working with a mid-sized company in Orange County who is hiring a Chief Financial Officer. The CFO will provide financial leadership for growth initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and serve as a key liaison between the company and corporate leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and cash management.
• Ensure SOX compliance and alignment with internal control framework and reporting standards.
• Develop financial strategies that support operational goals, capital investments, and profitability.
• Manage and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with executive leadership to drive business growth, evaluate new investments, and provide data-driven insights.
• Maintain strong relationships with banking partners, external advisors, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to executive management and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including leadership roles.
• Proven experience in SOX compliant environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and consolidation processes for multi-entity organizations.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, financial planning, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on financial management.
