About the Role
We are seeking a Chief Administrative & Compliance Officer (CACO) to provide enterprise‑level leadership across administrative operations, governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance. This executive role partners closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to ensure the organization operates efficiently, ethically, and in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
The ideal candidate combines strong operational leadership, deep compliance expertise, and the ability to scale processes in a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Operational Leadership
- Oversee core administrative functions including HR operations, facilities, vendor management, office operations, and internal policies
- Design and optimize enterprise processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and cost control
- Partner with Finance and HR leadership on workforce planning, internal controls, and organizational effectiveness
- Lead cross‑functional initiatives to strengthen operational discipline and execution
Compliance, Risk & Governance
- Own the organization’s compliance framework, ensuring adherence to all applicable federal, state, and industry‑specific regulations
- Serve as the executive owner of risk management, internal controls, audits, and policy governance
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs, training, and reporting mechanisms
- Act as the primary liaison with regulators, external auditors, and legal counsel
- Monitor evolving regulatory requirements and proactively advise leadership on risk exposure
Leadership & Culture
- Build trust through ethical leadership, transparency, and accountability
- Advise executive leadership and the Board on governance, compliance risks, and operational best practices
- Foster a culture of compliance while enabling agile business growth
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in administration, compliance, risk, or operations
- Prior experience as a Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, or equivalent senior role
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory compliance, internal controls, audits, and governance
- Proven ability to operate at both strategic and hands‑on levels
- Experience scaling administrative and compliance functions in a growth environment
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, JD, or relevant advanced degree preferred
- Professional certifications (e.g., CCEP, CPA, SHRM, Six Sigma) a plus
