Change Management Consultant (Contract)

Location: Fully Remote (Preference for PST or CST)

Duration: 6-Month W2 Contract (Possible Extension)

Pay Rate: $45–$57/hour (based on experience)

Overview

Russell Tobin is seeking a Change Management Consultant to support a large-scale transformation initiative for a leading global retail organization. This role will focus on driving organizational and cultural change by enabling leaders and teams to adopt new ways of working and achieve sustainable performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee change management activities to support organizational transformation initiatives
  • Partner with business leaders to build change capability across teams and functions
  • Conduct organizational readiness assessments and analyze results
  • Develop and present insights and recommendations to project teams and senior leadership
  • Design and implement change management strategies and plans aligned with business goals
  • Advise leadership on organizational development, behavioral change, and change adoption risks
  • Support communication, training, and stakeholder engagement efforts to ensure successful rollouts

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Change Management or Organizational Development roles
  • Strong experience conducting impact assessments and readiness evaluations
  • Background in training development and/or instructional design
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Supply Chain environments
  • Previous experience in retail or consumer-facing industries
  • Demonstrated experience as a Change Lead on large-scale initiatives

Additional Details

  • Fully remote role with a preference for candidates based in PST or CST time zones due to stakeholder engagement across regions
  • Opportunity to extend beyond the initial 6-month contract based on performance and business needs
