Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Number of Openings: 1 Perm Opening

Location: Glendive, Montana

Shifts: Surgeries start at 7am (shift end time is flexible based on surgery schedule, but is usually around 1pm); 2 weeks on, 1 week off with rotating on call and weekend shifts

Hourly Rate Range: $113.44 - $170.16 (Salary $)

Description

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will administer anesthesia, monitor patient's vital signs, and oversee patient recovery from anesthesia. The Nurse Anesthetist may assist surgeons or other physicians.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to perform or manage regional anesthetic techniques such as local, spinal, epidural, caudal, nerve blocks and intravenous blocks.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced understanding of anesthesia and other critical nursing skills.
  • Demonstrated patient care skills.
  • Ability to practice independently
  • Can show competence within Anesthesia Clinical Privileges

Education And Experience

  • Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program.
  • Currently has a CRNA license in Montana (or obtains prior to the start date).
  • 1 year of CRNA experience required.
  • Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) credential.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
