Job Title: Carpenter Helper
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. The role involves construction, remodeling, retrofitting, and repairing interior and exterior structures made of wood, metal, drywall, plaster, concrete, or brick. You will also be responsible for site maintenance tasks such as landscaping and snow removal, all under the guidance of a site supervisor.

Work Environment
The work primarily takes place at a large industrial facility in the Springfield, Massachusetts area. Standard hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays and double-time pay on Sundays. The team typically consists of 3-4 members, including a supervisor and laborers. The dress code requires steel-toed boots, long pants, and, if working at a chemical plant, long sleeves. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hats and safety glasses will be provided. Candidates must bring basic hand tools including a tool pouch, utility knife, speed square, hammer, tape measure, and pencil.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.00/hr.
