Cardiology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (Clinic)

Pay: $140,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our expanding practice in a hospital-based, inpatient rounding role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiology and a passion for delivering outstanding patient care in an acute care setting.

This job requires a minimum of one year of experience working in cardiology as an NP or PA.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily inpatient rounds on cardiology patients, including follow-ups, new consults, and post-procedure evaluations.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' cardiovascular health.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with our team of cardiologists.
• Interpret diagnostic procedures, including stress tests and EKGs.
• Provide patient and family education on cardiovascular conditions and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Current NP or PA license in the state of California.
• Relevant experience: cardiology, 1 year minimum.
• Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
• ACLS required.
