The Carbon Marketing Manager role is part of Weyerhaeuser’s Corporate Development team (CDO) and reports to the Director, Carbon Marketing. The successful candidate will focus on supporting the execution of our carbon portfolio go-to-market strategy through buyer engagement and transaction support, carbon market analytics, credit forecasting, and financial modeling support. The ideal candidate values the essential role working forests play in natural climate solutions, thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and adapts quickly to changing priorities while managing multiple projects. The preferred locations for this role are Hot Springs, AR or Seattle, WA. Consideration will be given to other company offices.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate across functional teams in project marketing materials development, requests for proposals (RFPs) response development, including compiling data and answering project-related questions.
Coordinate marketing activities and sales transactions with marketing partners, contractors and external platforms.
Implement and manage the execution of commercial agreements, including establishing processes and workflows to track project progress and timely feedback on completion of deliverables and milestones required.
Oversee development and maintenance of credit forecasting tools to align marketing and sales activities with project planning, pipeline and reporting needs.
Work across functional teams to build and refine modeling tools to analyze the financial impacts of strategic and tactical sales decisions on the portfolio.
Summarize industry trends, draw insights, and provide updates to incorporate into strategic marketing plan, forecasting and modeling.
Lead process improvement initiatives to address marketing workflow pain points while maintaining integrity through consistent handling of confidential materials, reporting standards and communications.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Forestry, Natural Resources, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Proven leader, with the ability to drive outcomes through collaboration, influence, and clear communication across diverse technical and non‑technical audiences.
Demonstrated strength in structured communication, including the ability to synthesize complex information, actively listen, and support constructive conflict resolution.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, paired with a solution‑oriented mindset and a demonstrated ability to champion process improvement and innovation.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, with experience applying data to guide decision‑making and performance tracking.
Minimum of 3 years of experience leveraging AI‑enabled tools, implementing project management systems, and supporting API integrations within operational workflows.
Working knowledge of forest carbon project design and familiarity with environmental or sustainability market frameworks.

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $98,800-$148,200 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 10% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours and paid parental leave for all full-time employees.
