Provides business analysis expertise for technology initiatives Partners with business and technology teams to analyze, interpret, and document requirements for simple to moderate business problems, and recommend comprehensive technology solutions. Uses domain specific and technology application(s) knowledge to conduct detailed analysis in response to business & technology requests to develop efficient and accurate functional requirements. Coordinates communication and information flow between business and technology teams. Create and maintain project / systems documentation and proactively monitor & manage project schedules and deliverables. Works with business users to develop and provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. Participates in system testing assessment and project development lifecycle. Applies deep knowledge of data accuracy, corporate policies, and data security to any aspects of the project. May interact with vendors and external industry participants.

It’s an exciting time to be a part of Wells Fargo’s Capital Markets Risk Technology team. This position will help shape and build out Wells Fargo’s cross asset strategic risk platform. As a technical business systems associate, you will be responsible for providing business analysis expertise in the group, partnering with business and technology teams to analyze, interpret, and document requirements for complex business problems.

  • You shall use financial products expertise and in depth capital markets domain knowledge to help develop solutions that are strategic, cost effective, and meet business requirements.
  • You shall apply knowledge of industry and technology changes to meet business partner tactical and strategic goals, work with business users to develop and provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes.
  • You shall ensure effective system testing and project development lifecycle management within your area of responsibility.

The position will report into the Technical Business Systems Sr. Manager within the Capital Markets Risk Technology division.



Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business systems analysis or design experience as demonstrated through work, military, or education
  • 2+ years of capital markets experience
  • A BS/BA degree or higher


Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of operation work flows/processes
  • Knowledge and understanding of governance and compliance expected from providing solutions in systems and technology domains
  • 3+ years of Agile experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of business systems analysis or design in the financial services industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of capital markets: business and processes
  • Knowledge and understanding of capital markets: front office technology and systems


Other Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of financial instruments focused specifically on Credit and Spread Instruments
  • Experience in market and trades/positions data sourcing/analysis, pricing/risk/valuations (NPVs, Greeks, PnL, Full revaluation, VaR, CCAR, scenario analysis)
  • Experience with regular BA activities (FSD creation, Jira maintenance, QA/UAT test management, etc.)
     




Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

NC-Charlotte: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,000
