Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Contact Center Representative to support our healthcare operations. This role is responsible for medical scheduling, patient registration, and delivering high-quality service while maintaining strict patient confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have experience in a healthcare or contact center environment and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound calls in a high-volume contact center environment
  • Schedule medical appointments accurately and efficiently
  • Complete patient registration and update electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Ensure compliance with patient privacy regulations and protection of PHI
  • Provide excellent customer service while managing patient expectations
  • Document all interactions clearly and accurately
  • Support patient inquiries regarding services, appointments, and general information
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and support employee engagement initiatives


Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a contact center, customer service, or healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of medical scheduling and patient registration processes
  • Understanding of patient privacy requirements (PHI compliance)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with self-initiative
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Strong listening skills with attention to detail and accuracy


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Certification or ability to pass the Health Care Language Proficiency or Interpreter Assessment (via MasterWord Interpreter Services) if providing non-English communication
