One of my best clients is currently seeking a purchasing supervisor/buyer for their facility located in a rural portion of western Pennsyvania.

They are a growing food manufacturer and your expertise in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management directly impacts production success. They are looking for a detail‑driven Buyer to manage ingredient and packaging procurement, maintain strong vendor relationships, and ensure consistent supply for a fast‑paced operation.

• What You’ll Do
• Source and purchase raw materials, ingredients, and packaging
• Evaluate suppliers for quality, cost, and reliability
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing needs
• Collaborate with Production, QA, and Finance to support daily operations
• Track market trends and identify cost‑saving opportunities

• Experience in food, beverage, or CPG purchasing
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
