Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Buyer to manage domestic and international sourcing, supplier development, and procurement operations. The role involves handling a wide range of automation, electrical, and mechanical components, ensuring on-time procurement, cost optimization, and inventory control.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier sourcing, evaluation, and performance
  • Handle procurement activities including RFQs, POs, and cost negotiations
  • Ensure on-time procurement at optimal cost
  • Develop alternate sourcing strategies and supplier base
  • Monitor inventory levels, excess stock, and reorder planning
  • Collaborate with stores, accounts, and cross-functional teams
  • Track procurement metrics, reports, and compliance (ERP/MIS)
  • Support Capex procurement and global sourcing initiatives


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement/supply chain
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
  • Strong experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and negotiation
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and Power BI
  • Knowledge of global sourcing, inventory management, and cost optimization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel for supplier coordination and audits
