Overview
The Buyer Assistant is to provide clerical and functional support to the procurement staff and PurchasingManager, as well as communicating with and providing customer service to procurement staff and vendors. Thisposition serves as a bridge for increased role and responsibility within the department.

Maintains spreadsheets to track savings opportunities and capital trackingGathers information and maintain recordsCreates Vendor Tax Exempts when requestedVendor check-in/Ensures integrity of Vendor Credentialing platformInputs order confirmations into LawsonMaintains office supply stock for purchasingAssists Buyers as neededPurchases specific category of suppliesManages and retain recordsOther duties, as necessary
Qualifications
Education LevelHigh School Diploma RequiredAssociate's Degree in business, economics, supply chain management, or a related field. Preferred
Experience1-3 years in health care experience. Preferred

Accountable for performing accurately and promptly routine purchasing activities within ARH policies and guidelines.Accountable for maintenance of appropriate purchasing records.Accountable for assisting ARH Buying Staff.
