We are looking for an Administrative Assistant who loves the puzzle of process improvement, values the security of ironclad compliance, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment. In this role, you'll mitigate corporate risk, streamlining workflows across massive cross-functional teams. If you have a passion for operational excellence and a sharp eye for detail, this is your platform to grow.
The Impact You Will Make
- Guard the Supply Chain: You will craft critical Purchase Orders, focusing heavily on solid commercial content and risk mitigation. You will also manage operational work cycles and MR 11 transactions.
- Master the Financial Close: You will take ownership of month-end close duties, compiling essential financial reports for budget tracking, variance, and cost analysis.
- Champion Compliance: You will serve as a frontline defender of internal controls, ensuring every record, report, and transaction strictly aligns with company SOX controls and procedures.
- Bridge Communication Gaps: You will serve as a collaborative hub, resolving vendor issues, handling urgent requests, and working directly with Engineering, Operations, IT, Accounts Payable, and the Integrated Supply Chain.
- Drive Service Excellence: You will manage incoming requests via the Jira service desk, providing respectful, clear, and solutions-oriented support to internal stakeholders and external partners alike.
Who You Are
- A Detail Detective: You spot the missing piece or the minor variance that others blink and miss. To you, accurate records are a matter of professional pride.
- Naturally Curious: You don't just follow a process; you look for ways to make it faster, smoother, and better. You bring a natural process-improvement mindset to everything you touch.
- A Team Player: You understand that great operations require great communication. You know how to collaborate across different departments with respect, clarity, and alignment.
What You Bring
- The Foundation: A High School Diploma or GED. A solid, general understanding of core Procurement and Accounting principles is highly valued.
- The Experience: 1 to 2 years in Procurement, Accounts Payable, or a similar administrative finance function is preferred. We are also open to sharp, highly driven entry-level candidates ready to learn. This is an entry-level opportunity, so candidates with more experience may not be considered.
- The Tech Advantage: If you have hands-on experience with SAP, that is a massive plus. Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing systems will also help you hit the ground running.
