Role OverviewThe Business Development Manager plays a key role in driving growth and expanding market presence. This is a full-time, on-site position in Murfreesboro, TN focused on building relationships, generating opportunities, and producing measurable results.
Key Responsibilities• Build and maintain strong relationships while identifying new business opportunities
• Network and represent the company within the community and construction industry
• Actively call on insurance agents, adjusters, property managers, and commercial contacts to develop referral partnerships
• Generate, track, and follow up on leads to drive consistent revenue growth
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Represent the company professionally in meetings, job sites, and networking events
• Negotiate contracts and help close new business opportunities
Qualifications• Experience in business development, sales, or relationship-based roles
• Strong communication, follow-up, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and produce results
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Knowledge of roofing, construction, or restoration is a plus (not required)
• Existing relationships with insurance professionals, adjusters, or property managers is a strong advantage
• Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
